Leo already had many years experience in the roof restoration industry and could see a clear opportunity to bring the MOSS RID® concept to the UK. What skills do I need to be a MOSS RID® Franchisee?We are looking for people that have the energy and motivation to create a strong customer base in a short period of time. You must be keen to run your own business, manage your own staff, focus on success and be prepared to put in the necessary time to make it happen. You must also have an interest and affinity with the services we provide. It is not necessary for you to have all the skills to operate the MOSS RID® Franchise, as you will be provided with the training and support.
Can I run another business alongside the MOSS RID® Franchise?
For your Franchise to be a success you will need to commit all of your time to the business and any distraction from this could seriously damage your prospects.
Do I need to be an existing roofer?
No, as part of your start up package we would include full training for yourself and your staff.
Territories/Locations
What is a territory?MOSS RID® have established two different opportunities for franchisees to provide as much flexibility as possible.
Local Franchisees will effectively work from home, carrying out both the sales and installation roles themselves, and employing a junior technician to assist them.
You don’t need to have prior experience of the roofing industry to become a MOSS RID® Franchisee but as a Local Franchisee you’ll need to have both the practical and entrepreneurial skills to deliver the MOSS RID® range of services and market your business.
Area Franchisees will trade from commercial premises within larger trading territories. They will employ a team of staff from the outset to provide the sales, installation and administration functions.
As an Area Franchisee your job will be to manage and develop your business, recruit and train quality staff, maintain the high professional standards we have set and to maximise the MOSS RID® opportunity in your respective territory.
How will territories be protected?
Each Franchisee is awarded sole rights to a territory that no other Franchisees will be allowed to market in.
