Kingsmaid is a domestic cleaning franchise offering management franchises in a high-growth market with full training and support, and the potential for excellent profits.
Kingsmaid began trading in 2003 and currently has 22 franchisees operating franchises throughout the UK.
The company offers Standard and Elite franchise packages to determined, talented and motivated entrepreneurs.
Kingsmaid’s Elite model
Kingsmaid’s recently launched elite franchise model has been designed to enable franchisees to replicate the runaway success of the company’s top performing master franchise.

The Elite franchises will run alongside Kingsmaid’s standard franchises and includes enhanced support, larger territories, comprehensive training and increased marketing spend.

The Market
Domestic cleaning is a fast-growing market, thanks to demand from a rising number of dual-income, working parent families and the increasingly affluent over-50s market, which will make up over 60% of the UK population and hold 75% of its disposable income by 2010.
In 2006, each Kingsmaid customer spent an average of £1,500 on the company’s cleaning services.
Training and Support
Kingsmaid offers pure management franchises, which means all our franchisees manage their own teams of cleaners. The company therefore provides all franchisees with ongoing training and advice in people management, sales and marketing, administration, customer care and financial management.
Cleaning staff are also offered a full training and development programme which includes practical cleaning and customer care skills.
Marketing
Kingsmaid franchisees benefit from the company’s dedicated customer website, www.kingsmaid.co.uk, which offers marketing, sales and customer care information.
Customers can use the site to search for and contact their local Kingsmaid franchisee, make and change appointments, and learn more about the business.
Kingsmaid also offers its franchisees PR support to help raise the profile of their businesses locally, regionally and nationally through press and broadcast media.
Financial Information
The Elite Franchise:
For set-up costs of £30,000 and liquid funds of £10,000, Kingsmaid Elite Franchisees can expect to reach realistic target earnings of £92,000 in year three and £175,000 in year five.
This model uses Kingsmaid's top performing master franchise in Manchester and Cheshire as its blueprint and includes enhanced support, larger territories, comprehensive training, tried and tested software and management systems and increased marketing spend.
Kingsmaid is so confident that its Elite package will reap its franchisees great rewards that it is also offering a franchise fee money-back guarantee if the agreed turnover is not reached after three years and the franchisee has met all marketing and commitment criteria.
The Standard Franchise:
Franchisees pay approximately £6,500 in set-up costs and are each given an exclusive sub-territory in which to market and run their business. The set-up cost also includes an initial stock of cleaning materials, equipment and uniforms, stationery and marketing literature, a software licence for Kingsmaid's bespoke scheduling and customer management software and a deposit payment on a liveried vehicle.
An ongoing management services fee, equating to 6% of the franchise turnover, is payable each month.
